Résumé
My background is the construction industry. Over the course of 30 years, I was responsible for the financial control of construction projects, including valuing work done, project bidding, estimating, buying, planning, financial and project management, and general management. The type of construction projects included offices, schools, banks, hotels, a port project, an army depot and a university.
In 1968, I decided to gain experience in sales and for the next few years worked with several American companies located overseas (Europe and the Middle East) selling mutal funds, insurance and automobiles.
I returned to construction in 1973 and was posted to the Caribbean where I headed the quantity surveying department of an international contractor. During the latter part of this period, I started my own specialist plumbing company doing large-scale installation work including specialty gas.
From Trinidad, I went to the U.K. for a year and back to the Middle East for a two-year contract. Then I came to the United States to work with a local electrical contractor. I went back into sales as an independent rep. for several companies, and when I retired, I took up business consulting to pass on what I had learned to a new generation.
I have written two books - "Keep Your Eyes On The Prize." and "So, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?"
The people I like to work with are small business owners and independent contractors who are in an "employed agency" situation. These are people who are engaged by a company but really operate as an independent business, like insurance agents, Realtors, franchise owners, etc. I have made this the target market for my consulting because that is where my experience and my expertise has been developed. And, it's an area I enjoy.
Send me an e-mail message and let's see about getting you started on the road to a brighter, richer and happier future. (Please go to the Mentoring Options page for my e-mail address.)

"I believe all the ingredients for success are known. You have applied the ingredients of success only as much as it takes to get to the level you are at now.
To reach a higher level of success, you just have to apply the known ingredients more effectively or more diligently. It’s not a matter of more knowledge; what is required is better thinking." — Frederick Pearce, from "Keep Your Eyes On The Prize."

"Let us understand from the outset — Personal Development is not a 10-day program, a 30-day program, or even a 100-day program. It’s a Rest-of-Your-Life program." — Frederick Pearce, from
