Dear Frederick,
I just had to write and say thank you so much! You led a group of us online through your Life Purpose exercise. That was back in October of 2006. Doing this exercise helped me get clear on my beliefs and values. It helped me to establish goals that were within the parameters of my beliefs as well. I set some goals for myself in 2007 and I achieved them all.
My goals were:
* Loose weight - I started off at 150 pounds.
* Move to a better location for me.
* Get published.
* Get trained as a Coordinator for my volunteer group.
* and many other smaller goals along the way.
By September of 2007 I had lost weight and was amazed that I was 123 pounds! I moved into my new place on December 7th, 2007. I am currently in the process of getting published and my co-author and I will have our book for sale on Amazon.com very soon!
Deep in my heart I always knew what I wanted to do. I just wasn't making the connection between my desires, needs and beliefs. After doing your exercises, it became very clear to me what path to take. I am happy to say that this was not a short term effect, either. It is now January of 2008 and I am still fired up and rarin' to go! In fact, using the model of what I learned from you - I set more goals for myself for 2008. I am already well on my way to making all those goals come true too!
* Obtain my GED to qualify for the job I want to get.
* Apply for the job I want.
* Attend classes with the Police Service here.
* Become a Board Member of my volunteer group.
* Continue the publishing process and sell book on Amazon.com
* Finish writing 2 other books I want to get published as well.
* Start my own home based business.
So far, I am well on my way to achieving these goals as well. I have signed up for my GED classes. I have been accepted into the police classes as well. I have become a Board Member of my volunteer group. I have officially opened up my small home based business and in fact; even qualified for a line of credit from my bank for my business! So you see, my goals are becoming reality. Even better than I could have imagined as well. It is only one month into 2008 and already I am well on my way to achieving my goals for this year.
Thank you once again for the personal attention and sharing your knowledge and expertise with me. I have learned so much from you and from doing your exercises. These are lessons, I will not soon forget. I am continually building on what you taught me and getting more motivated every day. With every baby step I take, I get more enthused to keep going. I have tried other life purpose exercises and none of them opened my eyes to the possibilities - like your program did. Good luck with all your future endeavors, Frederick.
